What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Team Lead, you will lead and coordinate daily production to ensure customer orders are delivered on time, in full, and to the required quality standard. Drive efficient workflow, optimise labour utilisation, and remove bottlenecks and backlogs through strong team leadership. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Own delivery performance and ensure customer lead times are consistently met.
  • Manage production flow and remove bottlenecks across all stages.
  • Allocate labour effectively and flex resource to manage demand.
  • Actively reduce backlog and control work in progress.
  • Lead, motivate and support the team to achieve daily targets.
  • Facilitate structured daily start-of-shift meetings.
  • Update and maintain 1–31 boards with accurate performance data.
  • Monitor output vs plan and take corrective action where required.
  • Ensure high quality standards and a right-first-time mindset.
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes and performance.
