What You’ll Be Working On
- Website & Platform Management
- Manage and maintain our bespoke ecommerce platform.
- Develop a strong understanding of front-end vs back-end functionality.
- Ensure site content, navigation, and structure are accurate and optimised.
- Monitor site performance and technical issues.
- Liaise with developers to support improvements, enhancements, and fixes.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience (UX), including monitoring customer reviews.
- Product Management (Full Lifecycle)
- Upload new products accurately and efficiently.
- Write compelling, SEO-optimised copy that resonates with our customers.
- Manage product categorisation, tagging, and on-site merchandising.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Buying and Design teams regarding product information, availability, and imagery.
- Carry out product updates and retirement strategy.
- Ensure product data integrity across the platform.
- Ecommerce Growth & Optimisation
- Support the Marketing and Buying teams with on-site promotional activity.
- Analyse user behaviour using GA4 or similar tools.
- Contribute ideas to increase average order value (AOV).
- Drive SEO improvements.
- Lead A/B testing in partnership with internal teams and external partners.
- Conduct competitor research within sports ecommerce and teamwear markets.
- Monitor trends in ecommerce functionality, UX design, and promotional strategy.
- Documentation & Process
- Create and maintain internal training guides for website processes.
- Ensure documentation evolves alongside platform changes.
- Lead cross-department training on ecommerce processes.
- Drive streamlined workflows and improved operational efficiency.
