Direct Response employment are seeking an experienced 7.5 tonne driver to join our clients team on a temp to perm basis.

Overview: To deliver customer products to customer premises safely and ensuring you provide an exceptional customer service experience as part of the role, the role will involve multi drop delivery contracted as 45 hours per week over 5 days however if you finish earlier you will still be paid guaranteed 45 a week.

Key tasks:

  • Provide excellent customer services on deliveries and whilst out on the road and interacting with the public.
  • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance at all times with working time regulations and driving regulations.
  • Undertake daily checks and report any defect and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Use a scanner to scan all deliveries.
  • Ensure all delivery and on road issues are reported to the traffic office immediately.
  • Ensure the customer receives their deliveries in excellent condition every time.
  • Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner.
  • Ensure collections are made in line with given instructions and times.
