We are seeking a 7.5 tonne driver working with varied clients across the Wiltshire and Somerset areas.
Key responsibilities of a 7.5t driver:
- Safe driving: Operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle in accordance with road traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
- Delivery execution: Completing deliveries to various customer locations within a designated area, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Loading and unloading: Loading and securing cargo onto the vehicle, and unloading deliveries at customer premises, potentially requiring manual handling.
- Paperwork management: Completing delivery paperwork, including signature capture and recording delivery details.
- Vehicle checks: Conducting pre-shift vehicle inspections, reporting any faults or defects to the appropriate personnel.
