Direct Response Employment Services are supporting our client in Radstock in the recruitment of a Supply Chain / Logistics coordinator to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity, joining an expanding business who has just opened another site overseas so it is a really exciting time to join the team. The team in Radstock are a small team so you will have a lot of autonomy in your role with your main duties covering full supply chain, logistics, import, export along with liaising with customers. Ideally you will have some previous experience within the above, however our client is keen on seeking someone who is organised, able to multi-task and has a good level of IT experience as you will be using excel and CRM's.
Key Duties:
- Supplier Coordination: Building relationships with suppliers, tracking orders, and expediting deliveries.
- Communication: Acting as the liaison between production, warehouse, sales, and external logistics providers.
- Problem Solving: Liaising with various teams to resolve problems and communicating these with the relevant parties.
- Prepare and process export and import documentation.
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and carriers.
- Manage customs clearance procedures and resolve any issues related to customs inspections or delays.
This is a full-time role which is fully office based working Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 with a salary that is depending on experience.
