Direct Response Employment Services are seeking experienced Class 1 drivers to support one of our clients in the Chippenham area. This will be a temporary role covering Ad-hoc shifts, our client operates a 24/7 site so has shifts available on days and also on nights.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 lorries, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly
- Deliver goods to various locations, ensuring accurate and timely drop-offs
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including compliance with driving hours regulations
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained throughout shifts
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence with a clean driving record
- Aged over 25 years for insurance purposes
- Have held their licence for 1 year minimum and have driven professionally within the last 6 months
- Valid CPC and Digi
- Max 6 points, no DR10's
