This leading retail marketing agency is looking for a Senior Account Director to join a team that are passionate about what they do and delivering value to its clients. The agency's remit for this major retail client is incredibly varied - they are a true extension of their Marketing Team and work in an integrated fashion with partner agencies to lead all Digital & Games activities including digital, partnerships and sales promotions. As the lead agency for Digital app sales promos, they take great pride in delivering engaging and impactful campaigns time after time.
As a Senior Account Director for the Digital & Games UK & ROI team you will be integral to delivering best in class campaigns. You will be responsible for driving forward key events in the UK & ROI calendar, from strategic development (be able to lead and construct a good sell in deck with the strategist where relevant) and understanding business challenges, to translating them into opportunities, looking at how digital and games plays a role in achieving Goals and connecting the brand with relevant audiences. Leading the team to deliver day to day is a key part of the role and you will be comfortable doing this in a key position from the front with the support of the Business Director.
This will involve mentoring and developing a team with the support of 2 x AD’s helping them to grow and progress, whilst delivering projects together and planning ahead to set everyone up for success with support from the Campaign Director. By understanding the client business, you will also be expected to develop with your senior team proactive solutions to share with the client, creating new business opportunities and creative opportunities for the agency.
This role is responsible for leading Digital and Games Promotions that range from on pack into digital (in-app) and some tactical promotions that all work to build the activity planned on the annual calendar. This includes management of: stakeholder sell in, mechanic development, partner and prize pool management, legal processes (from facilitating approvals on creative work, to helping develop the promotional Terms & Conditions), developing all the promotional elements and supporting the all agency group as lead agency, as well as delivering the app game play and winners comms specifically within the UK market.
Skills Required
- You’ll currently be an experienced Senior Account Director in an integrated / digital / promotional agency environment with a passion for FMCG and retail sectors.
- You’ll have a desire to achieve growth and will be working currently as part of a senior team.
- Be calm under pressure and have excellent upwards and downwards management skills along with communication and organisational skills day to day internally and externally with all collaborators.
- You thrive on taking ownership of your projects and delivering outstanding executions with your teams support.
- Can confidently write presentations that sell in our work to the client complimenting the strategy where relevant.
- Can take a step back when needed and settle the workstream to set up the best way forward.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Ideally you will be available to start a new role from mid/end of April and the contract length will be 12 months. You will be expected in the office 2-3 days a week. Unfortunately we will not be considering candidates at Business Director level.
