We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Admissions Manager to join our client's team at a top independent school based in Cambridge. If you have a knack for building relationships, a passion for education, and a proven ability to persuade and engage, we want to hear from you.
This isn’t your typical admissions role. We are seeking someone with a dynamic personality and a proactive approach, capable of not just processing applications but actively attracting, engaging, and enrolling prospective families. While experience in a school setting is a bonus, we have found that individuals with a strong background in sales, membership, or high-end customer service often excel in this role.
You will be the first point of contact for many families, providing a first-class customer experience that reflects our school’s values and unique offerings. Your ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and articulate the benefits of our educational environment will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to attract prospective students and their families.
- Manage the entire admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Build strong relationships with prospective families, offering personalised guidance and support.
- Conduct engaging tours and presentations, showcasing the school’s facilities, curriculum, and community.
- Actively follow up with leads and inquiries, effectively addressing concerns and overcoming objections.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling admissions materials and campaigns.
- Represent the school at various events and exhibitions, promoting our unique selling points.
- Maintain accurate admissions records and provide regular reports on enrollment trends.
- A natural persuader with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess a genuine passion for education and a strong belief in the value of independent schooling.
- Customer-focused with a proven track record of delivering outstanding service.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable with CRM systems and general office software.
- Experience in sales, membership, or a client-facing role where building relationships and achieving targets were key.
- A positive attitude and a resilient approach to challenges.
If you are ready to bring your energy, drive, and exceptional people skills to a rewarding role in education, we encourage you to apply. Join us in shaping the future of our students and our school community.
Please note this role is based 5 days a week on site during term time and is a full-time role with some flexibility to work from home during school holidays. Please do not apply if you are looking for a flexible working pattern.
