At Direct Recruitment Services, we are currently recruiting on behalf of our reputable client for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician based in Preston. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent hours and the potential for long-term employment with a well-established organisation.

Location: Preston

Hours: Approx. 40 hours per week

Rate: £21.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical systems
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and safety standards
  • Participate in an emergency on-call rota, including out-of-hours work

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent (City & Guilds)
  • Current BS7671 Wiring Regulations certificate
  • Current Inspection & Testing (2391) certificate
  • Proven experience across domestic, commercial, and industrial environments
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Basic IT skills (for reporting, systems, and communication)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
