At Direct Recruitment Services, we are currently recruiting on behalf of our reputable client for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician based in Preston. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent hours and the potential for long-term employment with a well-established organisation.
Location: Preston
Hours: Approx. 40 hours per week
Rate: £21.75 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical systems
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and safety standards
- Participate in an emergency on-call rota, including out-of-hours work
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent (City & Guilds)
- Current BS7671 Wiring Regulations certificate
- Current Inspection & Testing (2391) certificate
- Proven experience across domestic, commercial, and industrial environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic IT skills (for reporting, systems, and communication)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
