Overview
We are currently recruiting reliable Trade Plate Drivers / Vehicle Delivery Drivers to collect and deliver vehicles across the UK for dealerships, leasing companies, and fleet operators. This can be full time or a part time position ideal for drivers who enjoy travelling, working independently, and being on the road. Drivers collect vehicles from one location and deliver them safely to another destination. After delivery, drivers return via public transport or walking (foot driver) to the next collection point.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver vehicles nationwide using trade plates
- Complete vehicle condition reports and delivery paperwork
- Ensure vehicles are delivered safely and on time
- Plan travel routes using public transport between jobs
- Maintain excellent communication with the operations team
- Provide professional customer service when collecting or delivering vehicles
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (held for 2+ years)
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Confident driving manual and automatic vehicles
- Ability to travel independently across the UK
- Good smartphone skills (for job apps / photos / reports)
- Professional, reliable and well presented
Ideal Candidates
- Experience as a trade plate driver, vehicle delivery driver, car transporter, fleet driver, or car delivery driver
- Background in vehicle logistics, dealership transfers, or auction collections
- Comfortable using trains, buses, and walking between deliveries
