We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Pallet Repairer to join a busy team in a hands-on warehouse and yard environment. The role will involve inspecting, repairing and maintaining wooden pallets to ensure they are safe and suitable for continued use.
Duties will include:
- Inspecting wooden pallets for damage
- Repairing broken or damaged pallets
- Removing and replacing damaged boards
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Using nail guns and other relevant equipment
- Sorting pallets according to condition
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Carrying out other general yard or warehouse duties when required
Requirements:
- Previous pallet repair, woodworking or manual labour experience would be advantageous
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Physically fit, as the role involves regular manual handling
- Reliable and punctual
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work as part of a team
- Willing to work in a busy, physical environment
Hours & Pay: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:30 £13.00 per hour. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for regular Monday-to-Friday work with consistent daytime hours.
