We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 1 (CE) Driver to join our growing general haulage operation. This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy being on the road, take pride in delivering excellent service, and are comfortable working long hours.
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting a variety of loads across the UK, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Responsibilities:
- General haulage deliveries and collections.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and professionally.
- Maintaining accurate tachograph and driver records.
- Complying with all DVSA regulations and company procedures.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (CE) HGV licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Previous general haulage experience is preferred but not essential (minimum 6 months experience).
