We are currently recruiting for a Line Assembler to join a well-established manufacturer of trailers. This is a hands-on role working as part of a busy production team, assembling trailer components to specification and helping to ensure finished products meet the required quality standards.
Key duties will include:
- Assembling trailer components on a production line
- Using hand tools and basic power tools
- Fitting parts and components accurately to specification
- Following assembly instructions and production drawings
- Carrying out basic quality checks on completed work
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following all health and safety procedures
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous assembly, manufacturing, production or engineering experience (preferred not essential)
- Be confident using hand and power tools
- Have good attention to detail
- Be comfortable working in a practical, physical role
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
- Have experience reading basic drawings or work instructions, although this is not essential
