We are looking for reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our growing team. This role involves trunking and transporting goods between distribution centres and warehouses, with minimal manual handling and no multi-drop deliveries.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on scheduled trunking routes.
- Transporting palletised goods between warehouses and distribution centres.
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring loads are secure.
- Following all road transport legislation and company procedures.
- Completing delivery paperwork and using electronic POD systems where required.
- Providing a safe, reliable, and professional service.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety.
- Previous trunking experience is desirable but not essential.
