They are expanding their team and are looking for a talented CNC Programmer to join our dynamic workshop.
Role Overview: As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for precision components. You’ll work closely with our machinists, engineers, and quality team to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and edit CNC programs using [Mastercam/Fusion 360/Edgecam/other software]
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to determine machining requirements
- Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials
- Set up and test programs on CNC machines
- Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with production staff to ensure seamless workflow and minimal downtime
- Maintain documentation and update program libraries
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer (minimum 3 years)
- Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operations
- Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with quality control processes and measurement tools
