Role Overview

As a CAD Operator, you will play a key role in transforming customer briefs and design concepts into precise, production‑ready CAD drawings. You\’ll work closely with our design, production, and sales teams to ensure all structural designs meet both creative and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and prepare accurate CAD drawings for print and packaging projects.
• Convert design briefs into dielines and structural layouts ready for cutting and creasing.
• Collaborate with designers and production teams to ensure technical feasibility.
• Maintain CAD libraries and ensure all design files are up to date.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and suggest practical solutions.
• Ensure designs meet quality, material, and cost specifications.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a CAD Operator, ideally in the print or packaging industry.
• Strong working knowledge of ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
• Understanding of print production processes and materials (e.g., corrugated, carton board, display).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
