We are representing a growing fabrication company specialising in the manufacture of fire sprinkler systems and related metal components. We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level General Metal Worker to join our workshop team. This role is ideal for someone wanting to start or build a career in metal fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with fabrication and assembly of metal components for sprinkler systems
- Cutting, drilling, deburring, and preparing metal parts
- Assisting with basic welding and fabrication tasks (training provided)
- Powder coating preparation, including cleaning, masking, and hanging parts
- Operating powder coating equipment and ovens under supervision
- Inspecting finished products for quality and finish
- General workshop duties and housekeeping
- Following workplace health, safety, and quality procedures
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
- Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools (training provided)
- Good attention to detail, especially for finishing and coating work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
