The Role

  • Loading of mild steel components into jigs and fixtures using clamps to hold parts into place;
  • Manually operate robot(s) making basic corrections;
  • Visual inspection of parts;
  • Ability to work to and maintain proven run times;
  • General housekeeping duties as required;
  • Some welding experience and knowledge of programme setting an advantage.

The role consists of a basic 38 hour working week (shift work will be required). Rates depending upon skills and experience.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings;
  • Experience working within a fast paced engineering environment;
  • Good communication skills at all levels;
  • Works well under pressure;
  • IT literate;
  • Flexible in their approach and attitude.

Desirable Skills

  • Welding experience;
  • Knowledge of programme setting;
  • Crane licence.
