Personal Assistant (Social Care) Maidstone
We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support a young autistic adult to live a fulfilling, active and independent life. The successful applicant will build a positive relationship with me, encourage confidence, support community access and help him develop practical life skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Support community activities including bowling, swimming, walks, shopping and leisure.
- Encourage independence and confidence.
- Support technology, gaming, table tennis and other interests
- Assist with simple meal preparation.
- Encourage healthy routines and exercise.
- Work positively with the family
- Keep brief records where required.
- Kind, patient and dependable.
- Enjoys working with young adults.
- Interest in technology, gaming or sports is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and access to an insured vehicle.
Shift Pattern:
Hours are β 12 hours and 15 minutes between Monday to Sunday. Times to be agreed.
