Overview

Job Title: Personal Assistant
Job Reference: 20260313NN1526315

Reliable Personal Assistant required to support with personal care, supporting with meals, domestic duties, and accessing the community. Must be comfortable with animals.

This may not be a full list of tasks required and on occasions further support may be requested and additional tasks to be completed.

Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: I am able to manage my own shower but require someone to be close by to lend assistance if required. I require some support with dressing and applying cream to my legs. The bathroom is upstairs and I use a commode during the day on occasions; I will require support with emptying the commode. I require prompts with medication, prompts to stay hydrated and support with preparing meals in the morning and lunch.
  • Home Tasks: Support required to carry out laundry and ironing and ensuring that this is kept up to date. Support with general cleaning and tidying around the home, including emptying the bins and clearing any rubbish from the home as and when required. Keeping a safe and hygienic home.
  • Pet Care: Support with feeding the cat and dog and maybe letting them in and out of the garden.
  • Administrative Support: Some support may be required with paperwork/appointments scheduling etc.
  • Accessing the community: Shopping, short walks, and walking the dog. This may require pushing a wheelchair.

Requirements & Additional Information

  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK with no criminal background. Post subject to DBS check and references.
  • PPE is not supplied.
