Self-employed Social Care Support Worker wanted.

Location: Kingsnorth, Ashford, Kent.

Hours: 6 hours per week (Tuesdays and Fridays).

Hourly rate: £20.00 per hour.

Family seeking a self-employed personal assistant to take a young man out in the community for a few hours on Tuesdays and Fridays. Our son is funny and non-verbal. He requires help with most things including personal care and sometimes uses a wheelchair. We already have a small team of self-employed personal assistants; therefore work shadowing can be arranged prior to starting the role. Responsibilities:
  • Take the young man out in the community for a few hours on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Assist with personal care and support mobility as needed (wheelchair use).
  • Coordinate with the existing small team; shadowing can be arranged prior to starting.
Qualifications and attributes:
  • Previous care experience is welcome but not necessary.
  • What matters most is that you are friendly, patient, genuinely caring and able to work on a self-employed basis.
