The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.

Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.

A little about myself: I am a young lady who is full of life and always smiling. I am autistic and have a learning disability. I will need support when I am out although I like to be independent in a safe environment. I love music, swimming, walking and going into Swansea. I love being busy but also enjoy people watching.

I am looking for a PA who is young and passionate at caring for a young person. Driver required to take me out. Female preferred.

Hours of work: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 4 hrs x 2 = 8 hrs a week.

Rate of pay: £12.75 - £13.13

Essential:

  • I need you to be caring and passionate.

I’d like support with:

  • Going out in the community.

I will need my PA to:

  • Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
  • Be confident, mature and have patience.
  • Be dependable and arrive on time.
  • Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
  • Be adaptable and flexible.
  • Be supportive but not take over.
  • Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.

Concerning the position:

  • A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period.
  • Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis).
  • A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
