About the role

Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments. A little about myself: I am a 6‑year‑old boy who lives at home with my parents and sibling in Swansea. I have Global Development Delay and Autism. I attend an STF unit full time and when I am not in school, I love to play. I love playing with my toy animals and I love water play and books too. I enjoy drawing all day long and I enjoy being outdoors, going to parks and I enjoy soft play areas and swimming too! I am looking for a PA to take me out to play, or to some activities and clubs I attend after school or at the weekend.

Hours of Work

5 hours a week during school time and 8 hours a week in school holidays.

Rate of Pay

£13.13 per hour (Mileage is covered when you take me out).

Essential Requirements

  • Drive to be able to take me out.
  • Have previous experience.
  • Be able to keep me safe.

Employment Conditions

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six‑month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro‑rata basis). A DBS must be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
