Direct Medics Healthcare Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and skilled Specialist Mental Health CAMHS Practitioner to join the South Staffordshire Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people (CYP) with complex mental health needs.
Contract is for 3 months initially, working 4 days per week, 9am-5pm.
In this role, you will:
• Assess and deliver safe, effective interventions for CYP, managing complex risks in line with clinical guidance.
• Manage and coordinate a caseload of CYP with complex mental health needs, collaborating with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
• Provide clinical leadership and support to the CAMHS team, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery.
• Work collaboratively with wider teams and services to meet the holistic needs of CYP and their families.
• Offer advice, support, and supervision to other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
We seek a dedicated mental health professional with:
• Qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, Allied Health Professions (AHP), or equivalent.
• Professional registration with HCPC, NMC, or equivalent.
• Extensive post-registration experience working with complex mental health needs in a community setting.
• Experience as a Care Coordinator for individuals with complex mental health needs who may struggle to engage with services.
• Proven ability to make autonomous decisions while supporting individuals and families in the community.
