Job Description::
As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership to find an experienced and dedicated Band 8a or 8b level Psychologist to fulfill this CYP role based in Chester. The successful psychologist will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients and families, working with children up to 18 providing assessment and intervention. Locum roles are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful psychology teams in the country. This role is ideally looking for a full time clinical psychologist, working Monday to Friday, 9-5, with no evening or weekend responsibilities.
Requirements:
• Children and Young People experience is essential as is competencies in psychological assessment.
• Current HCPC registration as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
•Post-graduate doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996 or those in lateral transfer) as accredited by the BPS
•Have specialised experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for clients’ psychological care and treatment, and also within the context of a multidisciplinary care plan.
