The RVH Endo/Diabetes department have a Consultant locum requirement. The post will be 3-6 months pending Trust recruitment and commencement date will be ASAP.
Duties to include:
- General Diabetes outpatient clinics weekly
- Transition Diabetes clinics once monthly
- Antenatal diabetes outpatient clinic (weekly) (to join a team of other consultants providing weekly outpatient clinic cover of a joint clinic)
- Antenatal thyroid clinic weekly
- General Endocrine outpatient clinics weekly
- Pituitary/adrenal clinic once monthly
- Neuroendocrine clinic twice monthly
- Endocrinology and Diabetes inpatient ward cover following a Consultant of the week model on a 1 in 9.5 rota with out of hours and weekend cover (weekend cover also includes medical cover for the multidisciplinary diabetic foot patients)
Essential Requirements:
- Valid GMC Registration with full Licence to Practice
- Right to Work in the UK
- Minimum 6 months of medical experience in this role or a similar role within the UK
