About Direct Medics Royal Victoria Hospital require a Consultant Neurosurgeon with interest in vascular and complex spine Neurosurgery.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council plus a License to Practice (must have both at time of appointment).
  • Fellowship of a Royal College of Surgeons in the UK or equivalent qualification.
  • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Neurosurgery evidencing competency to provide the range of general adult elective & emergency, and emergency pediatric neurosurgical care via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview date), CESR or European Community Rights.
  • All applicants to have demonstrable skills in written and spoken English that are adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues.
  • Communication, reasoning and teamworking skills to be demonstrated on application and at interview.
  • Must have access to a means of transport to facilitate movement between sites.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK as per UKBA Immigration Regulations.
