The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic healthcare leader to join a growing organisation delivering high-quality, person-centred care services across the island of Ireland. We are seeking a passionate and driven Head of Services to lead operational excellence, service growth, compliance, and quality improvement across a portfolio of residential, supported living, and specialist care services. This is a senior leadership role with genuine opportunity to influence organisational direction, support service expansion, and drive positive outcomes for the people supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services across multiple locations
  • Drive operational performance, service development, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coach and support Service Managers to achieve excellent outcomes
  • Ensure services remain fully compliant with all relevant regulatory and governance frameworks
  • Lead audits, quality assurance processes, and improvement plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, commissioners, and key stakeholders
  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, and organisational objectives
  • Support tender submissions, mobilisation, and growth of new services
  • Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and excellence across teams

About You: You will be an experienced senior leader within health and social care who is passionate about delivering outstanding services and developing high-performing teams.

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years’ senior management experience within health & social care
  • Experience managing multi-site services and operational managers
  • Strong background in compliance, governance, and regulated services
  • Proven experience working with regulators and external stakeholders
  • Experience supporting service development and organisational growth

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse, Social Work qualification, Allied Health Professional qualification, or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in Leadership, Management, or related field desirable
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
