The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic healthcare leader to join a growing organisation delivering high-quality, person-centred care services across the island of Ireland. We are seeking a passionate and driven Head of Services to lead operational excellence, service growth, compliance, and quality improvement across a portfolio of residential, supported living, and specialist care services. This is a senior leadership role with genuine opportunity to influence organisational direction, support service expansion, and drive positive outcomes for the people supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services across multiple locations
- Drive operational performance, service development, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coach and support Service Managers to achieve excellent outcomes
- Ensure services remain fully compliant with all relevant regulatory and governance frameworks
- Lead audits, quality assurance processes, and improvement plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, commissioners, and key stakeholders
- Monitor KPIs, budgets, and organisational objectives
- Support tender submissions, mobilisation, and growth of new services
- Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and excellence across teams
About You: You will be an experienced senior leader within health and social care who is passionate about delivering outstanding services and developing high-performing teams.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 4 years’ senior management experience within health & social care
- Experience managing multi-site services and operational managers
- Strong background in compliance, governance, and regulated services
- Proven experience working with regulators and external stakeholders
- Experience supporting service development and organisational growth
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse, Social Work qualification, Allied Health Professional qualification, or equivalent
- Postgraduate qualification in Leadership, Management, or related field desirable
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
