The Southern Trust (NI) is recruiting for a Locum Consultant for the Inpatient ward at Craigavon Area Hospital, to commence immediately for 6 months initially. The primary duty is to act as RMO for Craigavon & Banbridge sector patients admitted to the Bronte Unit, Bluestone Unit, Craigavon Area Hospital, Northern Ireland. If the Locum Consultant does not have Part II approval, the Trust will endeavour to create a rota amongst the substantive Consultants within the Trust to complete MHO forms based on conversations and recommendations from the Locum Consultant. The Locum Consultant will still be expected to attend Mental Health Review Tribunals to present evidence on behalf of the Trust but will be supported by a substantive Consultant. Hours are Monday-Friday 9am -5pm. Proposed job plan is available on request.

- Valid GMC Registration with full Licence to Practice
- Right to Work in the UK
- Minimum 6 months of medical experience in this role or a similar role within the UK
