We are looking for reliable, dedicated Night Cleaning Operatives to join our professional facilities team. This role is essential in ensuring our site remains clean, safe, and ready for use each day. You will be responsible for carrying out cleaning tasks using company-supplied chemicals, tools, and equipment, following agreed procedures, safety guidelines, and cleaning methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and deep-cleaning activities across designated areas of food production units.
- Use supplied chemicals and cleaning products safely and correctly, following training, COSHH guidance, and all company procedures.
- Follow set cleaning methods (e.g., colour-coding, Method, task order, and equipment care).
- Operate cleaning equipment such as foam sprayers and pressure washers.
- Always maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the night shift supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all work is performed in line with health & safety procedures and site-specific standards.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential; full training provided).
- Ability to follow detailed procedures, methods, and safety instructions.
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in work.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
