Personal Assistant / Support Worker VAC/1224/04180

The role will consist of a mixture of activities such as- Some washing and dressing Prompting with tasks Support and encouragement to get out into the community. Help build confidence to take my dog out for a walk again using my wheelchair.

I am a lady who has always loved dogs, and used to run a doggy daycare until I had to give this up due to my health. I have a good sense of humor, and really enjoy playing with my dog Tribble when I can. I am very welcoming and flexibly in terms of the hours I need support with, but I am looking for someone who can help me build the confidence to be a little more independent with support, and empower me to one day go swimming again!, Someone who loves dogs and who is enthusiastic with getting out and about. Someone to support and encourage me to build confidence to go swimming and get out into the community again. The person I am looking for will need to be kind, caring, and motivating, and of course someone who will be completely reliable. Must have full driving license Will be required to complete DBS Certificate., I am a welcoming and friendly person, who can hold a good conversation. I have my good days and bad days with my health, and require prompting/encouraging to do as much for myself.
