Pricing and Underwriting is a complicated world, where historical data, geospatial information, and mathematical models meet talented analysts. Pricing our products is a fine line between balancing our business goals and customer needs. That’s why our Pricers and Underwriters are the best of the best. They reduce risk and predict future events ensuring our business can continue to grow whilst each and every one of our consumers gets the best price.
What you\’ll be doing:
You will be working with Packages Pricing team on one of the big projects within Commercial Direct providing support through:

Development of emulator in Radar to support pricing testing (Radar knowledge / experience essential)

Conducting analysis and preparing pricing proposals to meet product innovation requirements, development of impact environment if needed
-
Participating in price deployment, including development of testplan, investigation of any discrepancies and ensuring pricing controls are followed

Contributing to any other part of the project requiring pricing expertise, market and product knowledge
Our hybrid model offers a \’best of both worlds\’ approach. When you\’ll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office
What you\’ll need:

Extensive knowledge of Radar software including development of emulators and impact environments, ready to get started as soon as the pricing spec completed

Experience in pricing analysis, including paper preparation and presentation

Good understanding of the price deployment process, including testing and control framework
