Reporting to a Team Leader, you will be joining our dedicated Motability RTA team, dealing with a mixed caseload of OIC, MOJ, complex and Fast Track claims, along with Part 8 litigated cases. You will have the ability to develop your existing experience to litigate post-whiplash reform cases where quantum and liability are disputed. You will be sympathetic to the needs of your clients to ensure a high-quality service is provided and accurate legal advice is given in accordance with our policies and procedures.

What you'll be doing:

• Join a specialist Motability RTA team managing a varied caseload (OIC, MOJ, complex, Fast Track & Part 8 litigation)

• Support post-whiplash reform claims where liability and quantum are disputed

• Handle up to 200 RTA claims, including OIC, MOJ and MIB cases

• Manage claims end-to-end, from inception through to resolution

• Lead on dispute management and resolution strategies

• Value and assess claims up to £25,000

• Deliver high-quality client service with clear, accurate legal advice in line with policies

Our hybrid model offers a “best of both worlds” approach. When you will be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 50% of their time in the office.

What you’ll need:

• Fast Track RTA claims handling experience with personal injury, within an insurance company or law firm environment

• A working knowledge of OIC and MOJ Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules for Personal Injury claims

• A working knowledge of tariff and non-tariff valuations, and JC Guidelines for the assessment of general damages in personal injury cases

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients

• Experience of working towards and achieving defined business targets and measures

• Ability to work well under pressure whilst retaining a high level of attention to detail
