What you’ll be doing:
- This is a permanent role based around Slough, Marlow, Reading, Bracknell, Newbury, Basingstoke, Fleet, Aldershot, Guildford, Woking, and Godalming.
- You will be contracted to work 40 hours, four days a week, starting on a shift pattern with operating hours between 7am and 8pm Monday to Sunday, with the opportunity to do overtime.
- We will provide you with a Green Flag vehicle and you will start your day from your home.
- You’ll put your technical knowledge to the test, assisting customers with issues such as running out of fuel, tyre repairs or changes, and battery replacements.
- You will need to diagnose problems and understand the requirements to resolve them, giving customers the confidence to continue their journey.
What you’ll need:
- To be 21 years or over for insurance purposes.
- A current Category B driving licence is necessary.
- NVQ Level 2 or similar type of accreditation in light vehicle maintenance is preferred.
- Demonstrate empathy and a desire to always achieve the correct outcome.
- Experience in the Motor Repair industry.
- Experience of lone working (desirable).
- Utilise and apply up-to-date vehicle repair techniques.
- Display and utilise best practice and first-class Health & Safety behaviours.
- Collaboration with the dispatch team to improve the customer claims journey.
- Use self-initiative.
