We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Litigation Team at DLG Legal Services as an RTA/EL/PL Claims Handler. This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our Bromley or Leeds office with hybrid working.
What you’ll be doing:
- Handling a caseload of Claimant Employers Liability, Personal Liability, and Road Traffic Accident claims.
- Managing client claims, conducting investigations, legal research, and assessing claim prospects and values.
- Providing legal advice, managing client expectations, and explaining the claims process clearly.
- Negotiating settlements and drafting court documents.
- Managing cases efficiently, meeting targets, and maintaining client communication.
- Investigating conflicts, complaints, and acts of negligence, reporting issues promptly.
- Maintaining good relationships with team members, external organizations, and supporting department development.
What we’re looking for:
- Experienced Claims Handler, Legal Executive, or Solicitor.
- Experience with RTA / EL / PL claims, preferably within insurance or law firms.
- Knowledge of Pre Action Protocols, CPR, relevant laws, and regulations.
- Experience with Case Management Systems and research resources.
- Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
