What you will be doing
This is a permanent role in Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Watford. You will be contracted to work 40 hours, four days a week, starting on a shift pattern with operating hours between 7am and 8pm Monday to Sunday, with the opportunity to do overtime.
You will start your day from your home with a Green Flag vehicle. You will assist customers whose vehicles need to get back on the road, whether it be out of fuel, requiring a tyre repair/change or a new battery. You will diagnose the problem and understand the requirements to resolve it, giving them the confidence to head off on their journey with no further interruptions.
Salary and Benefits
Up to £40,000 base salary depending on experience, OTE £44-48k, plus an additional 9% of base salary employer contributed pension, plus overtime.
What you will need
- To be 21 years or over for insurance purposes
- A current Category B driving licence is necessary
- NVQ Level 2 or similar type of accreditation in light vehicle maintenance is preferred
- Demonstrate empathy and a desire to always achieve the correct outcome
- Experience of the Motor Repair industry
- Experience of lone working (desirable)
- Utilise and apply up-to-date vehicle repair techniques
- Display and utilise best practice and first-class Health & Safety behaviours
- Collaboration with dispatch team to improve the customer claims journey
