  • Identifying opportunities to improve our risk pricing models, using various techniques and claims and market data.
  • Creating pricing proposals and doing the impact analysis, considering various value measures across the business, such as loss ratio, other sources of income, lifetime value etc.
  • Sharing any insights from this analysis both within and outside of the team, including presenting to stakeholders from various business areas.
  • Interacting with our deployment team to support the release of pricing changes.
  • Mentoring and support to more junior colleagues.

You’ll report to a Band 5 Pricing Practitioner, and work alongside a team of experienced colleagues. Between us we hold a breadth of experience across the industry, but we’re always open to new approaches. Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach. When you'll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office.

What you'll need:

  • General insurance pricing experience, preferably in personal lines and across a broad range of functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to consider multiple scenarios, understand the needs and anticipate outcomes for the customers.
  • Familiarity with SQL. Python and Radar are desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, with an ability to explain findings to both a technical and non-technical audience.
  • A numerate degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related subjects.

Benefits:
