Join our Disaster, Recovery & Restoration (DR&R) team as a Property Claims Adjuster, where you\’ll leverage your expertise to deliver seamless DR&R solutions, shaping unforgettable customer experiences while shaping the future of insurance.

What you’ll be doing
Reporting directly to the Technical Property Team Manager you\’ll

Provide technical handling and oversight of claims involving Disaster, Recovery & Restoration (DR&R) activities.

Manage all DR&R claims, including standard and complex Home & Commercial cases, within your authority or on referral.

Ensure cost control and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Apply technical oversight to DR&R activities and challenge suppliers where necessary.

Maintain tasks within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) to support departmental and business objectives.

Collaborate with the Property Team and Loss Adjusters to deliver optimal DR&R solutions.

Accurately document all claim information onto applicable systems.

Identify and manage complaints, escalating trends and opportunities for improvement.

Take ownership of risks in compliance with regulatory requirements and the company’s risk framework.
What you’ll need

Strong technical knowledge of property insurance claims handling, including Disaster, Recovery & Restoration activities.

A background in loss adjusting or commercial and domestic claims handling.

Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures, specifically related to Asbestos and Mould remediation.

BDMA Accreditation or a background in building restoration (desirable).

Expertise in building and content scoping for claims.
