What you’ll be doing:

Joining our Home P&U Team, who are responsible for setting the prices for home policies, you’ll utilise your previous experience in Underwriting a UK personal lines portfolio to make sure we are best-in-class.
As a Band 3 Underwriter, you’ll support the Home Underwriting team in delivering accurate, competitive, and well-governed underwriting outcomes. This is a great opportunity to build your analytical skills, develop your understanding of insurance products, and contribute to key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Support analysis of claims and pricing data to help ensure our home insurance pricing reflects true risk and cost.
Assist in monitoring trading performance and competitiveness across customer segments to identify trends and opportunities.
Help review and maintain product details, including question sets, cover limits, and product tiers, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Track market and claims trends and support the team in identifying potential risks or opportunities for action.
Maintain underwriting documentation and support the upkeep of our underwriting footprint.
Assist in testing underwriting changes, ensuring updates are implemented correctly and efficiently.
Collaborate with colleagues across teams, including Claims, Trading, and Pricing, to support shared goals and improve customer outcomes.
Participate in team discussions and knowledge sharing, contributing ideas and learning from others.
Follow governance and control processes, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Engage in learning and development, building your knowledge of underwriting principles, insurance products, and data analysis tools.
Our hybrid model offers a \'best of both worlds\' approach. When you\'ll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office.
What you’ll need
