BACKGROUND/ ABOUT DCL

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for Underwriting Admin Assistants.
\n
The successful candidate would be based at our office in Chelmsford where no two days are the same! The successful candidate will report to the Head of Schemes and will be working in the renewals team. You will be working in a young team currently experiencing strong growth with potential for involvement in future projects in the areas of system and process development.

Responsibilities will include:
\n
- \n
- Maintaining Haul in One’s renewal retention in line with forecasts
- Supporting brokers with renewal enquiries
- Publishing and sending invites to brokers
- Making necessary changes to policies
- Learning rating structures and how they apply to underwriting procedures
- Corresponding with brokers over policy changes and additional queries
- Escalating more complex issues to senior team

Skills:

- Computer literate
- Excellent organisation
- Good verbal and written communication along with an excellent Telephone Manner

Required Experience:

1 year experience in an office environment
\n
\n
Maths and English Grades C (5) and above
\n
\n
