Direct Commercial are specialist commercial motor insurers with an award-winning Claims team. Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for Claims Admin Assistants. The successful candidate would be based at our office in Chelmsford where no two days are the same! In the DCL Claims department, you will gain exposure to a variety of liability scenarios and, with the support of our team of 100, there is plenty of room for learning on the job. So, if you are looking to grow your career in Claims then this is a great opportunity to get started.

Duties:
- Providing support to our claims team, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities
- Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Claims department
- Develop and maintain our filing system
- Recording and updating databases
- Projects such as gathering information by phone, letter or email
- Photocopying and scanning documents
- Manage Post and Emails
- To work closely with colleagues within the company to deliver consistently high levels of service
- To support and adhere to the company’s values and policies in a professional manner
Skills:
- Computer literate (Experience with Microsoft Excel required)
- Excellent organisation
- Good verbal and written communication along with an excellent Telephone Manner
Required Experience:
- 1 year experience in an office environment
- Maths and English Grades C (5) and above
