We are looking for someone with previous case management experience to join our award-winning, rapidly expanding organisation. The role is for our complex litigation department where you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of money claim cases. Previous experience of dealing with other Solicitors in contested claims is essential.

About the Role
Within this interesting and varied role you will be expected to:
- Draft applications, DQs, Witness Statements and draft Orders
- Draft bespoke Particulars of Claim, replies to defence and counterclaims
- Compile Trial bundles
- Book Counsel attendance at hearings and prepare their instructions
- Reply to correspondence sent by the Client, Court and Defendants
- Review cases prospects and decide on the best course of action
- Collate and review documentation sent by the Client and the Court
- Liaise with clients and the Court for updates in relation to claim progression
- Attempt to settle cases with Defendants on best terms and within client mandates where possible
- Adhere to strict client confidentiality
- Identify relevant enforcement on Post Judgment cases
- Provide support to our Paralegals giving them the benefit of your experience
Skills Needed
- Case Management experience is essential, in particular defended claims where the Defendant has a Solicitor instructed
- A positive mindset with a team player attitude
- The ability to work autonomously
- An ability to deal with cases proportionately with an eye on their commercial viability
- Great organisation and time management skills
- Confidence in making decisions in line with client expectations, working in their best interests
- A high attention to detail
- Excellent negotiating skills
- A willingness to learn and work to deadlines
- A strong work ethic
