Chief Technology Officer

Dirac is building the next Walmart-sized retail company. Backed by top VCs and angels, growing rapidly and maximally ambitious, we\’re looking for a CTO to work alongside the founder (myself) and to help take us to series A and beyond.

Technical brief

The role will initially involve a lot of hands-on coding and design. I currently acts as CTO and you will be taking over from me. We have two (brilliant but inexperienced) engineers. This will include: price and demand forecasting, helping build our inventory and finance backend, AI agents for running operations. I need to move my focus more to the B2B/sales side, so an ideal candidate means I can move focus to that while the company still ships what we need very very quickly.

Following series A you will also be working with me on hiring exceptional new engineers. The focus is on results not headcount – ideally we reach £100m+ revenue with <=10 engineers!
