Responsibilities:
- Deliver agreed sales KPIs for the counter, focusing on sales, ATV, UPT, and conversion.
- Motivate the team to achieve these results.
- Devise a business plan in line with product launches and host store marketing channels, executing it with the team.
- Execute all product launches as per Marketing Plan and instructions from HQ, including in-store displays and layouts.
- Implement and adhere to VM guidelines at all times, ensuring the team is trained on all standards.
- Manage all events, including launch previews, customer events, MDS, and Fragrance Fittings.
- Utilise host store marketing channels for all launches - online, VIP relations, VM, Windows, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service, setting exemplary standards for all staff and handling customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Manage the team, addressing staffing issues where appropriate.
- Ensure all staff demonstrate high levels of knowledge about products and can represent the brand effectively.
- Conduct regular training sessions to reinforce learning within the team.
- Maintain knowledge of key competitors and industry trends, training the team on key factors.
- Act as the first point of contact at the counter for HQ, providing and receiving feedback professionally.
- Develop professional relationships with key contacts in HQ and the host store to support the commercial success of the counter.
- Communicate effectively with a high level of commercial understanding about the host store and counter performance, making fact-based recommendations for improvement.
- Hold regular team meetings to keep the staff updated on all areas of the business.
- Participate in Managers Meetings, ensuring clear understanding of topics to relay back to the team.
- Maintain back of house areas to a high standard that supports the sales floor needs, ensuring the counter is clean, neat, and tidy at all times.
- Work with host store maintenance teams to ensure the counter is always in good order.
- Complete all paperwork and reporting accurately and on time - daily, weekly, and monthly as required.
- Interpret sales data and set action plans accordingly as agreed by HQ.
- Ensure compliance with host store Cash Handling guidelines.
- Have full knowledge of till procedures and processes within the host store.
- Assist the Retail Sales Manager with the recruitment process for the counter, supporting new hires through ongoing coaching and development.
- Ensure all staff are coached and developed on an ongoing basis, conducting regular staff reviews.
- Address performance issues of team members smoothly and effectively in a timely manner.
- Be aware of all security and health and safety issues and requirements of the host store, ensuring all staff are informed.
- Implement plans to reduce any loss.
- Work with the Inventory Manager and host store buying teams to ensure sufficient stock levels, conducting regular scheduled stock takes as required.
- Manage all emergency situations involving the host store and team members.
- Perform general administrative duties.
- Abide by Company and host store rules and policies at all times.
