12 month Fixed Term Contract (Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly warehouse team. Your main responsibilities will include picking and packing items, preparing orders for shipping to meet dispatch deadlines, and other general warehouse duties to a high standard of competence. This role primarily supports our Amazon operations but also offers flexibility to assist in our Ethical and Marketing warehouse teams as needed.
Due to the nature of the role, you should be able to easily lift cartons weighing up to 15kg, and possess good numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Our Warehouse and Distribution Centre is located in Kempston, offering free on-site parking and is within walking distance to bus stops.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Be organized, with excellent attention to detail
- Work efficiently with high accuracy
- Be a team player and follow supervisor/manager instructions
- Possess good communication and numeracy skills, both written and verbal, with a good command of English
- Have a friendly, outgoing personality
- Have general health and safety awareness
- Experience in a similar warehouse role is preferred
- Computer literacy in Word & Excel is desirable
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical environment is an advantage but not essential
