  • Purpose

As an Industrial Engineer/Digital manufacturing Engineer you will join the team responsible for the silicon wafer fabrication processes, tools and techniques involved in the manufacture of our growing family of semiconductor products for our worldwide markets.

Working closely with IT, the technology development and factory engineering organisations you will develop, implement, sustain, and improve the systems used to control, report, and model the process steps.

  • Key Responsibility Areas
  • Ownership of capacity and cost modelling of the whole manufacturing process on site and development thereof.
  • Ownership of reporting systems to support operational management.
  • Ownership of structure and set up of Routes in MES system
  • Preparation of output, cost and profitability metrics for historical and forecast periods.
  • Identify capital improvement/expansion projects
  • Drive the value stream management process to improve cycle times and reduce stock and WIP.

  • Relevant experience in Industrial Engineering/ software role within Semiconductor industry

  • High level of IT literacy
  • Relevant understanding of volume production engineering principles, systems
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Good knowledge of Business Intelligence software packages and ability to write reports from them.
  • Good knowledge of MES systems such as PROMIS.
  • Strong lean and six sigma experience
  • Highly organized approach, accurate with a high level of attention to detail
