The Role
- We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to support the day-to-day upkeep of Allen Hall Seminary, where residential students train for priesthood.
- Working alongside the Maintenance Supervisor, you will carry out general building maintenance, gardening, and support contractors, helping to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
- General repairs, basic painting and decorating.
- Grounds and garden maintenance.
- Health & safety checks (fire, water, lighting).
- Cleaning and upkeep of internal and external areas.
- Moving furniture and assisting with deliveries.
- Supporting contractors when required.
About You
- Experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role.
- Practical, reliable and physically fit.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Committed to the values and mission of the Diocese of Westminster.
- Basic plumbing or electrical skills and experience, ideally in a faith-based or charitable setting.
