We are now looking for a DBS Administrator to join us on a 12 month, fixed-term contract, working 29 hours per week.

The Role
As a DBS Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of DBS checks and related safer recruitment processes across the Diocese, helping to ensure they are delivered accurately, efficiently and in accordance with DBS requirements. Specifically, you'll process DBS applications, verify identity documentation, maintain safeguarding records and databases, and ensure confidential information is managed securely whilst monitoring DBS disclosures and escalating concerns where appropriate. Working closely with parish safeguarding representatives, you'll build positive working relationships whilst supporting the wider Safeguarding Office and contributing to the delivery of an effective safeguarding service.

- Experience in an administrative role, with excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines and manage sensitive information with complete discretion
