Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and skilled HLTA to join an existing strong team and help us provide the best education and experience possible for our fantastic pupils. The successful candidate will:

  • work within a year group team, supporting in class and providing PPA cover for the teaching team
  • work within one year group, with occasional support in another year group
  • provide support to pupils in class when not covering PPA or leadership time
  • ideally hold HLTA or Cover Supervisor qualification, but the essential requirement is experience of covering whole classes

The role is for 6 hours per day (plus 2 hours per week for meetings/prep), 5 days a week.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8:25 - 15:25 (inclusive of a 1 hour unpaid lunch break) plus 2 additional hours over the week for marking/prep/meetings. The exact working pattern for the 2 additional hours will be agreed with the successful candidate at interview.
